The Coming Storm

The cell-phone-orchestrated rioting last Memorial Day is likely just a small-scale harbinger of what is soon to come.  Those mobs were comprised almost exclusively of people blaming others for their own poor choices and believing that government should compensate for those choices by giving them other people’s resources.  The theft-welfare state is unsustainable.  The combined effects of inept fiscal policies, including direct payments, subsidies, redundant agencies and programs, illegal payouts, and pork barrel gifts to constituencies have crippled the US economy.

There are so many people riding in the government wagon that there are too few people left to pull it.

The Theftocrat-created welfare housing bubble benefited black people disproportionately.  The resulting crash is depleting their resources in the same proportion that they benefited.  This generosity is exacting a terrible cost.  It is readily apparent that Lyndon Johnson’s Great Welfare Society and similar programs have done little more than to create successive generations of lifelong welfare dependence.

Events in England, Portugal, Italy, and Greece prove that slashing the public dole arouses the ire of members of the I’m Entitled communities.  Having never held gainful employment, they have plenty of time available for rioting.  The Memorial Day rioters had too much time on their hands, too few morals to constrain their predatory behavior, and far too little responsible adult supervision.  Poverty was not even a factor in those events since they could afford smart phones to organize their criminal activity.

This article reveals that the recent crash threatens not only freebie housing and food stamps but also employment in over-paid government union jobs.  It is perhaps revealing, this preference for, and over-representation in can’t-be-fired government jobs in agencies unconcerned with profit making.

Because not only are African-Americans disproportionately the beneficiaries of federal programs, from the Earned Income Tax Credit to aid for education and student loans, they are even more over-represented in the federal workforce than they are on state payrolls.

Though 10 percent of the U.S. civilian labor force, African-Americans are 18 percent of U.S. government workers.  They are 25 percent of the employees at Treasury and Veterans Affairs, 31 percent of the State Department, 37 percent of Department of Education employees and 38 percent of Housing and Urban Development.  They are 42 percent of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., 55 percent of the employees at the Government Printing Office and 82 percent at the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency… 44 percent of Fannie [Mae] employees and 50 percent of Freddie[Mac]'s are persons of color.

The Corruptocrats’ scheme of buying their constituents’ votes with other people’s money is backfiring.  They created a theft-welfare state to keep large numbers of their voters trapped on the welfare plantation and coerced into voting Theftocrat in return for handouts.  The pie is now shrinking.  The gift of cushy and overly compensated lifetime government jobs is disappearing also.

The porkulus money that invented and saved government jobs is running out, and the public sector is facing massive layoffs and firings that will further aggravate unemployment.  People who have no job skills and people whose job skills are irrelevant and unnecessary in the private sector face bleak realities in a future that is hurtling toward them.

There will be armies of people in the inner cities with the opportunity, motivation, and ability to engage in large-scale riots.  This is coming soon to a neighborhood near yours.  Stay away from liquor stores and pawn shops because that is where riots usually start.

May your gods be with you.

Watch It, SEIU: We are Coming for You!

Apparently, members of Wisconsin's government unions are about to get their collective comeuppance.  "The nation's most aggressive anti-union proposal has been speeding through the legislature since Republican governor Scott Walker introduced it a week ago."  This bill will align public sector compensation packages more closely with those of the private sector.  The gravy train has run out of steam.  "In addition to eliminating collective bargaining rights, the legislation would make workers pay half the costs of their pensions and pay at least 12.6 percent of their health care coverage--increases Walker calls 'modest' compared to the private sector."

"The union concessions will save the state...$300 million over the next two years to address a $3.6 billion budget shortfall."  Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald opined, "I think the taxpayers [at least the ones who are sentient] will support this idea."  This proposal's effects will be wide ranging since it ends "collective bargaining for state, county, and local workers, except for police, firefighters, and state patrol."  The union has launched a fierce counterattack.

Union members and their supporters have brought out their heavy artillery and have delivered a whithering intellectual attack on the logic behind this bill.  Using keen perceptual acuity and disciplined rational deliberation, they have landed a knock out blow to the reasoning of the proposal's sponsors.  Let's hear it for chanting, sloganeering, rhythmic hand clapping, and shouting down civil debate

These intellectual titans have convinced themselves that the louder they shout, the righter they get.

May your gods be with you.

Why Juan and Pamika Can't Read

This video concerns America's future, tomorrow's leaders, and the direction in which the next generation will lead us.  Notice that its main speaker is Juan Williams of National Public Radio fame.  Recall also that O-buma turned his back on some 1700 economically disadvantaged inner city children in Washington, DC, in favor well-to-do campaign supporters in the National Education Association.  In the film, Williams asks incredulously, "you mean you're not standing with the kids?"

Open Secrets reports that between the NEA and the American Federation of Teachers, educrat unions donated over $67M to politicians during 2007-2008.  The NEA alone "spends more on campaign contributions than ExxonMobile, Microsoft, Walmart, and the AFL-CIO combined," and they send "95% of their contributions to Democrats."  What a neatly convoluted funding loop.

With states hurting financially, their leaders are searching for ways to trim budgets and to maintain essential services.  One effective way is through vouchers or school choice.  The old guard education unions represent an expensive failed experiment.  We cannot afford economically or socially to continue pursuing past mistakes.  "Empowering parents to choose the best school for their children...makes good fiscal sense."

In New Jersey, both Republican and Democratic legislators are supporting Governor Chris Christie's proposals to eliminate lifetime tenure and benefits that are cost free to education employees.  Teaching union claims that without tenure good teachers could be fired arbitrarily are specious.  "In 2008, there were 35 education tenure challenges for school employees," out of some 120,000 total workers.

In contrast, National Education Association President Dennis Van Roekel claims that teacher evaluations should "not root out bad teachers."  That's right, Roekel believes that a teacher evaluation should be a cozy, hand holding exercise to determine the amount of teacher's raise.  No valid reason exists to justify why education employees should not face the same occupational uncertainties as those who pay their salaries.

We have thrown good money after bad for so long that few people have any concept of a reasonable baseline for student and teacher performance.  Tests have been re-centered, revalued, and otherwise made irrelevant until they are useless as tests; they no longer evaluate what they claim to examine, which is exactly what union leaders want.  They desperately want to avoid any system that requires individual and total accountability.  Union "officials invariably respond to the deterioration in schools by seeking to abolish the gauges of decay, tests, for one."

Author Peter Brimelow observes about union leaders how "masterful the educrats are at mounting a noisy, well-masked offensive at the slightest threat to their Soviet-style status quo."  They have two main objectives, to maximize the financial aggrandizement of union members and to increase the numbers in their bureaucracy.

For union leaders, it's actually all about the kids, really.

The O-buma Plan: Slouching Toward Mediocrity

O-buma and his ethical, intellectual, and ideological soul mates enjoy the benefits of affirmative welfare.  Specifically, they operate under a segregated and inferior collection of expectations and requirements as to their conduct and performance.  Because of the resultant entitlement mentality, they come to expect that they should have a permanent seat in the public wagon that is pulled by other members of society.

This article was written by an insider who is one of several attorneys who brought charges of voter intimidation against some New Black Panther thugs who were harassing voters in Philadelphia.  Just when it seemed that the Bum and his minions could not stoop any lower, Half-bright Holder, the titular head of the federal league of injustice, illegally (according to the article) ordered his own attorneys to dismiss the case against the Panther Punks.

This story should be held up to scrutiny and kept in the public view until Holder is forced from office.  His actions are not those of omission; they are intentional acts of commission.  Legal action should be taken against O-buma for his tacit approval of these outrages.  For far too long, the O-bumites have been able to act outside of the law with impunity.  The federal Constitution still contains the Supremacy Clause that establishes that document as the supreme law of the land.

What it does not say is that we were all created equal under the law, but some of us are more equal than others.  This is especially significant since laws and policies are applied unequally for arbitrary, capricious, and insignificant reasons such as melanin-positive skin or double x chromosomes.  This sordid affair is but another instance of the Corruptocrats purchasing votes from their permanent welfare constituency with the legal, social, economic, and political resources of others.

Once again, is there no act so low that they would be too embarrassed to be seen stooping to it?

Apparently, there is not.  The sham financial reform bill that the Theftocrats passed ignores the root cause of the recent economic meltdown, the welfare housing hustle perpetrated by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.  The article points out that the bill allows the "government to seize and dismantle the assets of almost any company--and force others to pay for it."  This bill is standard procedure for the party-of-theft.

While on the topic of appalling duplicity, it is particularly distressing that members of the Supreme Court hold forth opinions rife with Orwellian deception.  Is this what is meant by the importance of being earnest?  The principle of stare decisis is only valid when it is politically expedient.

It is trying to suffer fools gladly.  It is particularly stressful when children suffer at the hands of selfish, greedy, and irresponsible adults.  Then, perhaps not all members of the national education collective's government unions can rightly be considered adults.  In New York, this is what a group of largely overpaid, under worked, and unaccountable guild members are actively trying to suppress.

They are desperate to hide how poorly their union efforts compare to the private enterprise education offered by their competitors in charter schools.  It is not that the children of minority parents cannot achieve.  The case is simply that in public schools, those students are pandered to and used as pawns to facilitate bloating the collective's bureaucracy while their academic lives are mostly ignored.

Speaking about unions and prevarication, this is an interesting exchange in which a self-proclaimed economist is arguing the official O-buma party line that less is more, that fewer jobs is really more jobs, and the porkulous taxpayer rape actually bettered the lives of taxpayers.

What the porkulous has actually done is to put more people onto the public payroll.  This article describes the preferred arrangements of Barack the Bureaucrat and his party-of-government cronies.

Rip'emoff Reid and Company

O-buma's Porkulous has failed to stimulate jobs growth.  That is unless the 411,000 temporary government employees who were hired by the US Census Bureau are taken into account.  Government simply cannot create private sector jobs.  What government agents can do is to increase the numbers of bureaucrats.

To do this, it is necessary to increase spending; to increase spending, it is necessary to increase taxation.  This takes money from the private sector, which in turn decreases the very resources required to create private sector jobs.

If you fail to recognize that the party-of-government Theftocrats want to increase the number of people who are dependent on the government welfare plantation, let me sell you some hurricane proof real estate in the Florida Keys.  Sadly, it seems as though there is no stunt, scheme, or scam so low that O-buma and the corruptocrats will not stoop to it.

The time has come to disenfranchise government unions.

May your gods be with you.

Hurry 2012

The photo at the left is of some SEIU communists exercising their Constitutional rights to violence, aggression, and extortion.

For all of you who have been annoyed, frustrated, and endangered by those among us who are addicted to their phones, pods, pads, and other battery operated devices, there is a glimmer of hope.  The First Amendment does not confer the right to drive recklessly while using one or more of these devices.

Maryland is joining a small number of states that have banned cell phone use while driving.  It only takes a few people who have too little ram to converse and drive safely and who wander across traffic lanes to ruin things for everyone.  If only we could do something about those drivers who threaten our lives and property by searching through briefcases and purses, changing diapers, leering at other drivers, combing hair, and applying makeup.  No, don't go there.  The guys are as bad or worse than the gals.

There is a growing movement to ban driving while device-impaired.  Perhaps revenue from fines for these offenses could help to pull some state budgets out of the red.  It is believed that for the Florida cities of Lawtey and Waldo, the loss of money from speed trap fines would cause their governments to collapse.

Here is an example of what the party of government plans to do.  The people who have been watching their retirement nest eggs dwindle should be thrilled to learn that $165b in tax dollars will be given away to private pension funds for the already overpaid.

Have you heard about the thugs in government unions?  Try this on for size.

There should be no surprise that we have become a nation of obese people.  The trend may well have begun when people who played golf for exercise took to using golf carts that carried them and their clubs about as they consumed large amounts of calories in the form of alcohol.  Today's young people, rather than benefiting from exercise and fresh air by playing soccer, have this.

Just look what has happened under O-buma and the mommy staters, that is besides the teeny little oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

When is bribery not bribery?  It is apparently not if it is attempted by O-buma and the Theftocrats.

In the movie Gladiator, Joaquin Phoenix (emperor Commodus) told Russell Crowe (Maximus) that "you simply won't die."  For O-bumaHolder, this is a story that simply won't die.  It is most revealing that the organization Judicial Watch (Because no one is above the law) is leading the charge to uncover the coverup.  True to form, the Presstitute hypocrites are busily spiking the story.  These are the same folks who crowed loudly about their part in drumming Richard Nixon out of office for covering up wrongdoing.

While on the topic of deception, the lapdog media are enemies of this nation.  The proof is in this publication.  The people who claim that O-buma was unaware of this order have all of the credibility of the Kennedy era liars who alleged that some G-13 was responsible for the Bay of Pigs disaster.

After such stressful and depressing news, maybe this will help.

May your gods be with you.

I'm from the Government, and I'm here to Help

O-buma and the Congressional Theftocrats have sold Americans a bill of goods, and far too few of us recognize the shafting that we are getting from their WelfareHealthCare.  This is living proof of their intentions to keep low income single mothers permanently relegated to the federal welfare plantation.

Notice that these nefarious social engineers have created another marriage tax that acts as an economic disincentive for marriage.  The mommy staters argue in favor of punishing married people by claiming that two can live together on less that it takes for them to live separately.  Understand the reasoning here.  First, government should supply each of us according to need.  From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs...didn't someone named Marx say this?

Second and most important, they have acted to ensure that those of us who have behaved responsibly and prudently have our earnings confiscated to subsidize those who behave irresponsibly and imprudently.  There is something seriously amiss with this system of federally subsidized fecklessness.  We offer economic incentives for breeding TANF recipients, and we punish those who plan intelligently and live within their means.

Slackers pay nothing and get a lot; worker bees pay a lot and get the green weenie.  The bees have it right.  When their food supply dwindles to such low levels that the colony is threatened, they stop feeding the drones.  One can gain sobering insights from observing the natural world.

That we are a socialist nation hardly bears repeating, but that we are also totalitarian is most often revealed anecdotally so that the nationwide pattern is obscured.  Political liberty is unavailable in nations wherein citizens are prosecuted and persecuted for thoughtcrime.

The Head Hypocrite and his minions Feckless Barney Frank, Red Harry Reid, and Pelosi the Pinko are heaping criticism on the Wall Street crowd.  It is that same crowd that has been lining the pockets of Theftocrats for years.  People who bite the hand that feeds them are genuinely shameless.  Just take a look at what the government unions have done to New Jersey.

The same dim bulbs who invented Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the Community Reinvestment Act that collapsed our economy have profited handsomely from those agencies.  The heavy hand of government is expensive when it regulates and taxes  free trade.

At first glance, giving government the privilege of stripping Americans of their citizenship for committing acts of terrorism may sound good; however, who defines an act as terroristic?  How long will it be before the likes of someone such as Eric Holder, the head of the department of injustice, defines it such that it means those who support the Second Amendment?

Do you like to use the Web?  Enjoy it while you are still able to do it.  Does anyone remember hearing the old lie that "I'm from the government, and I'm here to help," just before it hit the fan?  If you believe that the government's motivation is "ensuring fair competition and preserving a free and open Internet," let me sell you some hurricane proof real estate in Key West.  The way that they ensure competition is exemplified by SEIU and the Postal Service.

May your gods be with you.

Taking Ownership from Pirvate Hands is Nonconsensual

The O-bumites and their moral, intellectual, and ideological soul mates the Congressional Theftocrats are continuing their efforts to nationalize (steal) the financial sector of the US economy.  One of the surest ways to accelerate the dismantling of America is to keep businesses from making profits.  To insure this, they are putting in charge of the private business sector the same people who gave us snail mail, Thalidomide, and duck-and-cover protection from thermonuclear holocaust.

Once again, listen!  Taking money from the federal government is the equivalent of taking a loan from Tony Soprano: the reason for the loan is to steal the collateral for that loan.

Federal hooligans propped up Government Motors and Chrysler and then immediately stole ownership of the companies and gave it to their lapdog constituents at the UAW.  This may bring unintended consequences as the very people who are paid much more than the prevailing wage are charged with lowering labor costs.  The Porkulius scam created no new jobs; instead, it merely subsidized entrenched government bureaucrats who, rather than holding jobs, are overhead borne on the backs of taxpayers.

The same hoods who subsidized health care through Medicare and Medicaid used that as their launching pad to steal the entire health care industry.  Whether it is communication, transportation, education, or any other enterprise, when the fed-hoods get involved, they take over the show.  They use can't-be-fired bureaucrats, government unions, nationalization, or oppressive regulation and confiscatory taxation to steal what they want, namely, other people's resources.

Now is the time; come to the aid of your country.  Put and end to the mommy staters' plans for cradle-to-grave socialism.  As Barry Goldwater observed, "extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice...moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue."  Liberty is the absence of government interference in the lives of individuals.

May your gods be with you.
