Welfare by any Other Name

Once again, the O-bumites prove that they are too pusillanimous to bear being treated as they have treated others and that they offer a segregated and inferior collection of expectations and requirements as to the conduct and performance of people who qualify for affirmative welfare.

Maobuma's plan to save government union teachers' jobs will only cost taxpayers a mere $70,000 per job.  It seems as though the most effective way to combat this hustle is at the state level.  The theftocrats' generosity with other people's money is galling.  They are propping up these unions  with another $10 billion.

However, Democratic House Appropriations Committee Chairman David Obey, to his credit, did cut out $800 million of a $4.3 semi-slush fund given to the educrats to "spend virtually any way" they want.  Obey was at odds with Department of Education Secretary Duncan that he was "offended that he only has $3.2 billion to pass around."  Life is tough for the SecEd.

One way to curtail out-of-control federal spending is to shift entitlements to the states so that the voters there can decide whether and to what extent they want to fund those programs.  This would offer an additional bonus. There would be fewer federal bureaucrats needed to track, account for, and spend the states' money.

The consequences of progressive/socialist/mommy state influences on federal policies and legislation are coming due.  Everyone in this country will bear the burden and some of us more than others.  

The Obomunists are planning to stick it to the middle class taxpayers once again.  They are going to allow the Bush Tax Cuts to expire.  The article points out that "one lesson from Hoyer's tax assault on the middle class is that 'temporary' tax cuts face the chopping block, but 'temporary' tax increases live to be paid another day."

What a shock it is that Team O-buma is still at it lying, sneaking, and weaseling to increase the size of their welfare fiefdom.

The UN's Program of Action on Small Arms is embraced by the Obaaama sheeples.  It seems likely to conflict with both the First Amendment and Second Amendment.  In the first case, the program calls for a "reduction of violence in media and in video games" and sustained "efforts at re-education and reorientation of {member states'} citizens."  Chairman Mao's re-education camps are to be run by the UN.

Second, PoA parallels an Organization of American States agreement on illicit manufacturing of firearms that neologizes that term such that virtually every US gun owner would be required to acquire a manufacturing permit from the feds.  Good luck with that; ownership requires a manufacturing permit.  This typifies Backdoor O-buma's devious schemes.  He is planning to disarm Americans through compliance with a UN mandate and then blame it all on that pesky UN.

Evidence continues to accumulate that lowering tax rates increases revenue to government.  When rates are increased, revenues decrease.  The state of Oregon recently learned what history has already taught about Jack Kennedy and Ronald Reagan.

O-buma and company seem to have tossed a bone to NASA.  Perhaps it is a meaty bone at that; we'll see whether this is genuine or just PR.

Do Obumoids Dream of Electric Sheep?

Except when corrupt politicians skew data by limiting research only to convenient information, overemphasizing or deempathizing it, and under or overstating projections and intentions, the Congressional Budget Office historically has been the nation's most reliable predictor of how federal policies will affect the economy.

In his State of the Union address, O-buma claimed that in 2010 jobs would be his main focus.  What he did not tell us was that his plans will mean fewer rather than more jobs.  The O-bumites are pushing what they call "green jobs."  This term is oxymoronic on at least two points.  First, the so-called jobs are mostly bureaucratic positions that are little more than overhead borne by taxpayers.  Second and most important, the CBO advises that these policies will result in a "decline in employment."

Once again, the sheeple claim that less is more.

The green jobs hustle has already failed in Spain, Germany, and Denmark, so why would the Kenyan Genius Messiah pursue a failed experiment?  Because he can and because we allow government to herd us around like pigeons looking for peanuts.

Due to our apathetic lack of resolve and commitment, we have allowed the Party-of-Government Congressional Theftocrats to give themselves a license to steal.  When they enact policies that, oh darn the luck, increase unemployment, they benefit from it by adding to the numbers of people who are dependent on their brand of government.

CBO also projects that because O-buma and his merry band of thieves are squandering America's future we will, in less than ten years, have accumulated debt totaling 90% of our GDP.  Margaret Thatcher was right, we are running out of other people's money.

Hopefully, people are also running out of patience with Communist Charlie Crist.  Now, he is comparing himself with Abraham Lincoln.  Charlie, Charlie, have ye no shame? 

Another group that suffers from his sort of messianic neuroses is the National Education Association.  They have devalued religion and religious ethical precepts--they make a special exception for Islam and its Sharia law--in favor of paganism.  This is part of their No-Standard-is-too-Low strategy of indoctrinating rather than educating children.  Unholywood is leading the charge.

For everyone who has been threatened by rogue or feral animals while exercise walking, hiking, or jogging, it is possible to do so in relative safety.

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

His Lips are Moving

Above is Barack the Buffoon kow towing to the Chinese president.  This typifies the O-bumites vision for America. 

For anyone who is sufficiently naive and gullible to believe that the O-bumites are not dismantling America, try this.

The Prevaricator-in-Chief's lips are moving.  The Theftocrats in Congress are infamous for lying and stealing.  One of their favorite schemes is to steal from the dead through the inheritance or death tax.  Now, they are going to steal from the dying as well.  Anyone remember that lie about no new taxes?  Raising taxes on people who are dying is low, even for the Party of Government.


Speaking of lies, Attorney General Eric Holder's sanctimony is appalling.  His decision has been to welfare away commensurate consequences for the Black Panther thugs armed with clubs who were intimidating voters at a polling station in Philadelphia during the 2008 election.  Now, he is slithering about ducking requests from the US Civil Rights Commission whose members want him to testify as to his reasons for not pursuing the matter.

Selective enforcement of laws is clearly prohibited by the federal Constitution.  Since the self-proclaimed O-bumamessiah does not have the necessary votes to dismantle the entire Constitution at once, it is taking this back door approach to eliminate its second amendment.

Napoleon Bonaparte advised that one should not ascribe to treachery that which may be adequately explained as incompetence.  Here are two examples of O-bumites' incompetence.  Bear in mind that this buffoon is the chair of the House Judiciary Committee.
