Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has signed a bill into law that requires voters to produce photo identification in order to participate in the election process. ACORN, professional victim groups, illegal aliens, government unions, and the rest of the Theftocrats' permanent entitlement constituencies are beside themselves. They are convinced that it is their birthright to steal elections. How dare the rest of us demand honesty of them!
Making sure we have legislation that protects the integrity for an open, fair and honest election in every single case is important, said Walker. The chronically bereaved responded by chanting, Recall Walker! Wisconsin is now the 11th state to have approved requiring some form of photo ID at the polls.
Open, fair, and honest runs counter to the dictates of progressives' amorality. They believe that they should be exempt from enduring any unwanted consequences that might result from their actions because lying, cheating, and stealing are essential to achieving their holy goals.
The Wall Street Journal's John Fund has these observations. Coercion and chicanery are made much easier by the excessive use of absentee ballots. Most of the elections thrown out by courts—Miami, Florida's mayoral election in 1998, the East Chicago, Indiana's mayor's race in 2005—involved fraudulent absentee votes. Three decades ago, absentee and early ballots were only 5% of all votes cast nationwide. In 2008, they exceeded 25%.
In the 2004 presidential election, Milwaukee election officials reported that some 5,000 more ballots were credited than were recorded as having been cast. Additionally, more than 1300 votes cast by people who registered to vote on the day of the election--this invitation to fraud should be eliminated--were declared invalid. The Milwaukee Police Department, a government union operation, had a plan for the 2008 national election. The police department's Special Investigative Unit was ordered by superiors not to send anyone to polling places on Election Day. What a shock.
Election laws should be clear, simple, applied equally, and balance ease of voting with the need for ballot integrity. A unanimous Supreme Court warned about the danger of loose election laws when it vacated a Ninth Circuit opinion, which had enjoined the use of Arizona's new voter ID law on the grounds it would disenfranchise voters.
The court made the obvious point that "disenfranchisement" is a two-way street. Fraud, it noted in Gonzales v. Arizona (2006), "drives honest citizens out of the democratic process. . . . [V]oters who fear their legitimate votes will be outweighed by fraudulent ones will feel disenfranchised."
For Corruptocrats, election theft is merely part of their overall plan for the theft-welfare state. They invented the mommy state to reflect their belief that they have discovered the way, the truth, and the light. These delusions drive them to force everyone to live as they dictate; these dictates are unilaterally beneficial to themselves. Theirs is not a society of taboos, boundaries that we are forbidden to cross. Their utopia is one of enforced totems, or mandatory kow towing to the omniscient, omnipresent, and oppressive state deity.
May your gods be with you.

Rejecting the Lies: Why so LIttle Publicity?
Michelle Malkin long ago earned her spurs for, in part, exposing the ulterior motives of Corruptocrats' oppressive mommy state. In her article, "Hey, Eric Holder: Meet My People" she celebrates the lives of some US patriots who have thrown off the yoke of hyphenated Americanism. Katrina Pierson is of them. She supports limited government principles and rejects left-wing identity politics.
Katrina admonished the NCAA's racist policies and asserted that the reality is that we colored people no longer require the assistance from other Negros for advancement,” Pierson said. “These groups run to the rescue of distressed brown people only when the media deems it newsworthy. Meanwhile, there are inner city black children who continue to grow up fatherless while sharing a neighborhood with stray bullets, drugs and a plethora of liquor stores on every corner.
Katrina Pierson is a hero. For further reading go here.
Unfortunately, it seems as if for every liberty loving hero there is a would-be-thief in progressive-socialist clothing echoing the lets-spread-the-wealth-around philosophies of O-buma. Michael Moore is one of them. Be certain to sanitize after watching this. Such thievery exists because we allow it to occur. Remember the words of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.
In his article "Re: Michael Moore vs. Abraham Lincoln," John Steele Gordon expresses dismay that the mainstream compliant and complicit media's representatives provide Moore an arena in which he can disseminate his socialist propaganda. Together they have little regard for facts. Gordon asks pointedly, how could the world be vastly richer today — and nearly everyone’s standard of living is vastly higher than it was a century ago — if wealth can only be redistributed not created?
Moore also doesn’t seem to understand the concept of capital and its centrality to wealth creation. General Motors could not manufacture cars without the auto workers who work in GM factories. But the workers equally could not manufacture cars without the GM factories to work in. And factories are capital, which, in this sense, is defined as “accumulated goods devoted to the production of other goods.
Gordon further reveals Moore's inability to comprehend economic matters by explaining that the so-called rich in the real world don’t stash their hoards of cash in money bins. They invest it in factories and research and design, in order to make new goods that people need, often so that they can produce new goods themselves more easily and quickly. Moore should heed Lincoln's advice that it is better to be silent and thought a fool than to open one's mouth only to remove all doubt.

Land of the Free No Longer
If you believe that the hand wringing Theftocrats are not pandering to smugglers on our borders, this article is mandatory reading. What a shock that O-buma would appoint this party hack to ICE just after inventing the position that he will hold.
Consistent with his sleight-of-hand rhetorical deception, the prevaricator-in-chief alleges that stationing one guardsman every seven miles along the border will stop the smugglers and terrorists. This is while Mexico is in a US court trying to prevent us from protecting our border with them.
The demagogue in the White House is heading for a fall, and it couldn't happen to a more deserving person; this clown has been reading his own press clippings for too long.
The resolution scheme was invented to allow federal budgets to be passed. An interesting point to consider is why did no Senator raise a point of order pursuant to the Byrd Rule and require a separate vote requiring a 60% majority to pass the legislation?
For anyone who is concerned, even threatened, that the O-bumessiah is frittering away our national prestige and sovereignty, the document referenced in this article reveals the future.
Be prepared, the value added tax is coming soon to pay for the party-of-theft's mommy state. Contrary to their belief, raising the top two marginal tax rates will not increase federal revenues and likely will decrease them. Tax rates are already at confiscatory levels, and this will only hurt the national economy. Does anyone remember Brick-a-Brack O-buma's promise not to raise taxes? Read my lips; he lied. What is it about the term veto that the presstitutes cannot comprehend?
Oh, and by the way, the sky is falling.
May your gods be with you.

War is Peace, Ignorance is Strength, and Freedom is Slavery
The stories that pop up in the media late Friday and early Saturday from sources in government have consistent characteristics. Many are trial balloons, and most are of such a nature that they represent transparency lite. The government agents who release these stories want to claim plausibly that they dutifully informed the public of their actions or intentions, but they fail to acknowledge that the convenient timing of their information's release greatly diminishes public exposure and media coverage.
Print and electronic media businesses are primarily Monday through Friday operations. Many fewer people avail themselves of media information on the weekend, and given the 24 hour news cycle, by Monday, weekend press releases are old hat. Viola! They have public disclosure and obfuscation simultaneously.
One of these limited exposure scams involves Government Motors. The White House claimed that GM repaid taxpayers part of the money owed to the public. However, they did not want us to know that they repaid the taxpayers with the taxpayers' own money. Little wonder that Alexis de Tocqueville observed of us that the republic will endure until the government realizes that the people can be bribed with their own money.
In another similar travesty, O-buma claimed that nationalizing or stealing the US financial sector of our economy would end taxpayer funded bailouts of businesses that are economically non-viable. If you believe that one, invest now in some earthquake proof real estate in Haiti. As an aside, he urged lawmakers to pass his legislation quickly before it can be scrutinized. Additionally, he mentioned in passing the likelihood that he and the Congressional Theftocrats will be wanting to send some more taxpayer funded welfare to the United Auto Workers.
This is just some of what the O-bumites are hiding. In order to test public support the socialists' plans, we should allow two sets of parallel economic operations in this country, one with the all encompassing, smothering, safety net of government regulation, taxation, and strangulation and another with virtually no interference from agents of the state. If the public flocked to the unregulated operations by voting with their dollars and feet, the mommy staters would have little basis for their claims and actions.
The parallel economic universes of the progressives' totalitarian regime and an almost unregulated economy with all of its potential perils would offer clear choices. It would also unmask the mommy staters' basic philosophy. They feel that with their omniscient wisdom and benevolent caring, they know best how everyone should live, oh and by the way, they want your money to fund their little schemes.
Contrast this with a laissez faire approach that allows people to determine for themselves what to eat, wear, think, and feel, one in which we are individually and totally responsible for ourselves and our actions, able to choose our investments, and to decide how to plan for the future. If the majority of citizens prefer a let-the-players-play approach, what does it say about those whose desperate needs to control others drives them to deny opportunities to those of us who wish to cast off the burdensome yoke of the progressives' government?
If we opt out of participating in welfare health care, social safety net programs, and the rest of their revenue enhancement schemes and abrogate any and all claims, rights, and privileges to their benefits, what motivations other than selfishness and greed can the progressives use to justify their confiscatory and oppressive style of government? Thomas Paine had it right when he observed "that government is best which governs least."
In closing, this is about the racism-means-insufficient-pandering crowd. Perhaps it will uncover the terrible and hopeless plight that US border control agents are having trying to thwart the hordes of Canadians who are bringing illegal drugs and lawless violence into the US.
